The Library Recordings was formed in late 2007. An indie label based in Derbyshire, it aims to promote the best in leftfield music in the Midlands.

Above all, it believes that the current music industry crisis is of its own devising. T. L. Recordings believes that artists should be properly paid for their work and that listeners should not be charged ridiculous prices in order to own music they love. To that end, you will never see a price direct from The Library which is in any way extortionate, but an rest assured that our musicians aren't starving.

Its first release will be from signee Leni Ward. Leni's album was written, recorded, produced and entirely performed by Leni in her home studio. We believe it is an inspiring work which addresses a wide range of interesting issues based in the nature of humanity. The album is currently slated for a Summer 2008 release.
